FAUMUN x BaMUN 2022
Last weekend, some of our delegates joined us in Bamberg for BaMUN 2022. In collaboration with the Model UN projects of the Otto-Friedrich-University Bamberg and the University Erfurt, two councils were simulated.
While the UN Women council (left) discussed
I. Women as Drivers of Economic Recovery and Resilience
II. Combating Gender Inequality to End Poverty
the Security Council (right) concerned itself with
I. Improving Security for Peacekeeping Personnel
II. Preventing Terrorist Acquisition of Weapons of Mass Destruction.
The initial three Working Papers in the UN Women council merged to two Draft Resolutions, which were unanimously adopted. In the Security Council, three Draft Resolutions were introduced and passed, two of them unanimously.
